preziosi di questa produzione che merita una attenta lettura interpretativa; la loro affinit\u00e0 tematica e l’impianto scenico perfettamente speculare inducono a pensare che siano stati concepiti en pendant, idea rafforzata dal fatto che sono pervenuti a noi ancora come coppia[…].<\/p>\n In quanto metafora di idee astratte, questa allegoria esprime un valore morale da rintracciare nel ruolo stesso dell’Accademia come sede istituzionale dove non solo s\u00ec fa pratica, ma si discutono anche le teorie dell’arte e in essa potrebbe ravvisarsi l’allusione all’appassionato dibattito teorico sulla eventuale superiorit\u00e0 dell’una sull’altra delle due \u201csorelle gemelle\u201d (cos\u00ec Leonardo defin\u00ec pittura e scultura), una disputa intellettuale iniziata nel Cinquecento e examples of this production that deserve a careful interpretative reading; their thematic affinity and the scenographic composition perfectly specular allow thinking that they were conceive en pendant, idea reinforced by the fact that they came to us in couple.[...]<\/p> As a metaphor of abstract ideas, this allegory expresses a moral value to be traced in the role itself of the Academy as the institutional venue where not only you practice but also you discuss art theories and in there could be the reference to the passionate theoretical debate on the eventual superiority of one of the two \u201ctwin sister\u201d (how Leonardo Da Vinci defined painting and sculpting), an intellectual challenge started in the 16th century and apparently settled by the equivalent dignity achieved, so that both received the gold medal given by the Academy. On the same time, it\u2019s possible to read a reference to the prizes that, starting from the second half of the 17th century, were distributed to young pupils at the end of art competitions outlawed by the Academy of Saint Luke, the famous Academy of Arts founded by Federico Zuccari in 1594. Baldi, enrolled from the 1652, got the title of \u201cPrincipe\u201d (\u201cDirector\u201d) in the 1672 so he chaired the commission of professors\/artists judging the paintings and sculptures to be prized. In that circumstance, just one prize was given to sculpting in confrontation with thirteen prizes given to painting, declaring the supremacy of this very last one; to its superiority seems to be referable the major spatial quality granted to Painting, towards whom, indeed, lend Academy's hand holding the file. A un tempo vi si potrebbe leggere un riferimento ai premi che, a partire dalla seconda met\u00e0 del Seicento, venivano distribuiti ai giovani allievi al termine dei concorsi sulle arti banditi dall’Accademia di San Luca, la celebre Accademia delle arti del disegno fondata da Federico Zuccari nel 1594. Baldi, che ne faceva parte dal 1652, ne divenne Principe nel 1679 e, in quanto tale, presiedette alla commissione degli artisti \u201cprofessori\u201d che giudicarono le opere da premiare in pittura e scultura.
